We got a piece of really bad news from lucy lee today. She told the class that christine's dad had passed away yesterday. When i heard that i was like gg OMG!!! But yah now i hav sorta calmed down.
I was feeling really bad lar. The thing was that we had originally planned to go to carl's jr yesterday, so i sorta initiate the class outing. In the end though we didnt go to carl's jr, we still had the outing thingy. Christine rarely came on class outings so i guess since she heard we were having a class outing, she decided to come along. She had originally planned to go visit her dad in the hospital. In the end, to make a logn story short, she didnt get to see her dad for the last time. I heard from lydia and all that she was really devastated then, i felt so remorseful. Like so guilty like tt, make her cant c her dad for the last time. Then i was reminded of how her dad had asked us wad we wud liek to hav when we went to her palce recently. Those memories were liek so fresh and vivid in my mind. Im so sorry christine. T_T
Oh yah, almost the whole class turned up for today's wake. Me fernie bailyn tasha and martina went to united square for lunch and bought christine a pint of ben and jerry's. We tot tt was the least we cud do to cheer her up. =]. We then took a cab down to the place. It was kinda sad lar, liek u noe we had to go c her and everyone was quite down and all. Rosa lydia and sara were there alredi then they told us some stuff and all. Christine is a really strong gal i think. She didnt really cry at all and we were so proud of her. Her mom and sis were the more "emo" ones, i cant find anth word to use. Then we talked to her, when we saw her dad it was like kinda sad lar like wanna cry wanna cry liek that.
We tried to cheer her up and luckily for leanne and mel who happen to b there too and of cos claudia and nigel, we saw chrisitne smile. It was quite touching to c her like that lar, liek diff side of her. Then we started talking nonsense again before heading down to the playground to paly. Lol. We were palying catching when qi bin arrived. Oh i think i forgot to mention, themis xiang li and ss came soon after we arrived. So anyway themsi went to fetch qi bin then we went back. Soon enuff the 3 guys, rong cheng randall and arthur came down too. And then toi and her frenz whom im not really sure of. Lastly we had the ppl in blue again, rachell henry joanna ryan angeline and yen kiat came down too. Bro Paul came along as well. Everyone was like kinda worried for christine lar, but then she was a really good host and she held back her tears. Oh grace cried a couple of times too. It was like really sad lar we all felt so sad.
The svc started at 8 promptly. We sang a few hymns and lucy came as well. Then we were to lsiten to christine's dad's best friend's talk. It was really sad lor, the guy wanted to cry as well. Then the ps spoke to us and preach a little bit. Qi Bin rachell and angeline left cos they had to either meet someone or go hm. Then we had the closing hymn and this part was really sad. Like the ps asked christine, christine's mom and grace to stand at the corner and when we went forward to pay our respect to christine's father. Then we offered our condolences to christine and famiyl. I seriously felt liek crying. Like when i saw christine cry, i could liek roughly imagined how she felt and i really felt liek crying. Christine's liek such a nice gal and she is liek so strong and so when i saw her cry, it was kinda like last straw kinda feeling. Lol. But i didnt cry lar. Haha. Then we tried to comfort her.
Later she served us food and all and then force us to eat lar, but we were like making her eat cos she didnt hav her dinner yet and it was like 9 plus alredi. But then she kept serving us so we played zhong ji mi ma to clear the food. Lol. Then we played games there to cheer her up. As it was getting late, we all left for home.
Its like really sad lar, and im liek REALLY REALLY REALLY sorry. Haiz. I think there shud b lesser class outings from now onwards. Haiz. OK! Christine u havta b strong k? All of us T34's wud always support u. Smile okay? =] =] =]. Dun take it too hard on urself, rem that ur dad has merely returned to the Lord's side. Dun b so sad next time we c u. Take care. =].
