Monday was Jerrold's bitheday, thus he invited the cell to his house for his birthday celebration. However after service on sunday, i went to meet up with Jeffrey as he was teaching me how to lead the prayer meeting in CJC, we went to the delifrance at novena square.
He gave me thi set of notes to read while he went to buy beverages and stuff. When he came back, he was carrying 2 drinks. He actually bought an extra cup for me. Haha. However i felt super guilty when he told me that he hardly step into expensive places liek delifrance as he wanted to save money. So i felt rather guilty. Anyway the notes were about some Christian stories and sort. The most interesting one would be about the Pearl. Im too lazy to type it out, so if you wanna know the story, come look for me and i wud tell it to u. =].
After meeting with Jeffrey, i met the remaining people in cell at ttsh foodcourt. Jerrold went home to prepare the party stuff. Ben Seck and Sharon was at tp. While teresa went to find ben n sharon b4 heading for jerrold's place. Haofeng didnt come for svc as he had some family function. The leaders were at some meeting, so it was down to me stanley dilys and shan. Later when the leaders came, we called haofeng. As the gals were worried that the blur sotong wud lose his way, Waiyin suggested we wait for him. That was a mistake. Haofeng is known for being late, and we were proven right when he took an hour to travel just one mrt station. Wai yin was lamenting that she was getting old. Haha. Anyway we headed over soon enuff b4 ben sharon n teresa finished the food.
When we arrived, what got my attention most was the CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN. Ian corrected me that it was chocolate fondue but i really cant b bothered whether its fountain or fondue, chocolate is good enuff. =]. Looking at how the chocolate fountain flow was SUPER TEMPTING!!! Jerrold's fren was there too so we tried to act as obedient as possible, but the chocolate, i think all of you people shud guess how we all felt. But nevertheless, we acted like good little children until we were given the green light from the host, the bdae boy, Jerrold. Teresa as usual attacked the strawberries, while i headed for the marshmallow. Looking at the thick coating of chocolate over the marshmallows made me drool. COMPLETELY. Anyway we soon got tired of eating so much choco(actually we were all afraid of getting fat). Oh, the leaders were busy bbq-ing the chicken wings n all for us. We are so fortunate to have such loving leaders. =]. We ate n ate until we cud eat no more, then Ps Ben and Sis Lillian came. They too were captured by the "sinful" fountain. Haha.
Later the guys had this crazy idea to push Jerrold into the pool. Actually its the standard custom for R-Geners i think. I totally feel we should abolish such a tradition. Lol. Jerrold sorta like noe that he was gg to get into the pool, by hook or by crook, so yah, it wasnt as fun as expected it to be. But anyway we had a good laugh when he fell into the pool. Then as usual, stanley would go around pushing people in. Jeremy was smart and took the camera, thus he sorta hav immunity. I went to the bbq pit and offered myself to cooking dinner. Haha. Ben Seck was pushed in too, but then he kept on running away, so the others had a hard time to get him in the water. Haofeng tried to escape but luck wasnt on his side. Next when all of them were wet, they started to target Jem and me. Jeremy as a good leader, had to get pushed in the water. But before that he posed for the pictures and he directed the whole thing n he even made funny faces to make it mroe realistic. He got pushed in. Then they shift the target to me, but i had immunity as i couldnt appear at hoem with a different set of clothings, i told my parents i was at school. So yah i was saved. =].
Later the cake was served and it was HUGE! We sang happy bdae sogn a couple of times before teh cake was served. Then waiyin started to play with the cream. She went around smearing it on us. Then i kenna, as teresa was sitting beside me and laughing her hearts out, i couldnt resist the temptation and atatcked her too. Lol. I quickly dashed for teh gents but that didnt stop her. She came in and put cream on my face. What a daring gal! Lol. Then as we were planning to leave, Ps Ben and jeremy cooked up this evil plan to take revenge on wai yin. They plan was that ben seck was suppose to take cream out of teh apartment, and when we leave, ben seck was supposed to put cream on her face. However ben seck wasnt totally successful as he only managed to get her back. So yah, but waiyin was quite angry i cud tell, but i didnt noe wad happened after as i left home. Super fun day, i hope cell wud b liek that mroe often. =] =] =].
