YEAH!!! CJC Orientation 02:06 rox!!! Our theme this time was OXYGEN. This is because the chemical symbol for Oxygen is 02. Just like our orientation 2, its O2 so yah basically they got the idea from there. Haha. However orientation wasnt as good as it should turn out.
1st DAY:
We all got seperated and i ended up in IG 17. Not a very united IG i must say. We were quite seperated and very little was done to break the ice between us. Our facils were kinda poor thing actually. One reason was because when they tried to get us to gather we really didnt bother what they triedto say, another reason was that the organization was really screwed up. So basically i spent my 1st orientation day very badly and got together with the remaining 1T11 whenever we could.
2nd DAY:
The 2nd day was a much better day i must say. We had lots of games and we were like kinda united and strong, but besides the game, we are still like sand. Haha. So we won quite alot of games but we didnt get the rewards we were promised. We were like so looking forward to the 3rd day as we would be split up into our classes and i couldnt 3wait to reunite with 1T11! We ended quite late i guess then i went to TIMES bookshop to read comics. Haha. After that i went home.
3rd DAY:
We were so pek chek today. Class posting results were supposed to be out at 1130 but in the end we got our results at 430. We were quite angry already but luckily there was the cca pasar. So at least we were much brighter. Qibin was trying so desperately to get people to join choir. Haha. In the end i signed my name for bridge, student council. I hope to get a place in Drama cos i strongly feel that i have the potential. Haha. Kiddin. Anyway the results were out and to our horror, everyone was in 1T34 besides Charmaine and Qi Bin. Charmaine got into her 1st choice combi with literature so we werent really surprised. We were however very shock that Qibin got into 1T35. It was liek so out of point. Serene took it very hard. Kinda sad noe. Then we were trying to console her. We went to our classes and then we got to know our new Home Tutors. Quite sad lar. Lousy teacher. Lol. Anyway quite a number of SJI guys and 1T11 people in 34 so i wasnt very sad. But i spent alot of time tryin to console Serene. After the class thing, we went to house meeting. We didnt get into Falco with Jean, instead we got Duma, the white cheetah. We were all so dead. Haiz. Then the cheering was so sianz diao. Haha but then afteyr that me serene and qibin went to far east subway for dinner. Qi Bin was im Mamba green snake.
4th DAY:
FINALE!!! Today was finale night and we were at first quite sianz. Still upset over the Qi Bin and Charmaine thing. Oh Qi Bin and Charmaine went to appeal. Anyhow back to orienation, the 36 classes were split up into 2 groups. 1-20 and 21-36. All of us were in Group 2 so we were quite excited. Anyway we went to have our home tutorial classes first super sianz. I tried to run away but was very unsuccesful. Haha. Then after that we learnt mass dance. I danced with this girl from my class. Her name's Rose. Shortform i dun really know how to spell her name. Haha. The dance was fun yayness. Then we went to Police Academy. It was kinda fun actually, but the weather was really hot so during the 1st game, SWAT (Super Wet And Tiring), i couldnt help but take the wet sponge and soaked myself wet. It was really refrshing, but i cant really figure out whether we won that game or not. I didnt really care actually. Next we played DOTA (Defend Of The Asses). So basically we were to protect this cloth at our bum. Our team won! YEAH! Then we headed to the swimming pool for our next game. Basically we had to swim across the pool to get some gambling chips. So we were like quite excited and i was super excited as i couldnt wait to get myself in that pool of cool water, i was so disappointed when they stopped teh game just before my turn. Grr. Anyway we all ended in a draw. No big deal actually. Then we went to our very last game. This catch the flag thing. I dun really understand the game if u ask me but anyhow we lost. So yah. Nvm. After that game we went back to the pool and collected out prizes before we headed back to school. We had cheering straight back in school and we couldnt stop complaining. Then after a while they gave us a breka and we went to bathe. After that i was so bored to go back and started chit chatting with amos n frenz. But we had to go back to cheering because we had to get this puma thing and paint our faces. My face so jialat le they still put so much and so thick paint on my face. Haiz. Anyway after the cheering practice we went to the audit and got ready for FINALE NIGHT. We had the chance to cheer first. Our main cheer was adapted from Spongebob Squarepants. Lame. But fun. Anyway i totally felt that the rest cheered so much bttr than us all. Then was th skit and i totally thoght we were going to lose everything cos our skit liek so suck? But before i talk about prize presentation, we had the facils item. SUPER SUPER SUPER DUPER DUPER DUPER FUNNY FUNNY FUNNY!!!!!!!!! I couldnt stop laughin. From Brokeback Mountain, Memoirs of a Geisha, Pussy Catdolls, and some hip hop thing. Lame but really hilarious. Then after that was prize presentation. Lupo, expcted won Best Banner. Their banner rocks!!! Then Falco won best props. Kucha won bext skit. Orso won bext sportsmanship. Duma won Best cheer( though we really suck) while Mamba won best house. Super fun. After that we had MASS DANCE! I danced with Rose again, oh yah she danced with Darren too. Anyway i made alot of mistakes Haha. Then we had the encore part, then the 1T11 people went to PS for dinner. YAHOO! FUN DAY!
I really enjoyed myself at finale night. It totally erased all the bad thoughts i had about the whole orienation. I guess its really important to have a nice ending. =]. Okay thats it.
